A neighbourhood institution
for the modern woman.
Girlie Girl Salon & Spa was founded in 2005 by Michelle Beaudette-Grates as a place that could meet a woman's whole day. The concept combined salon, spa and boutique under one roof — to centralise beauty, wellness and shopping, with the kind of warmth that's hard to find on Mack Avenue.
Twenty years later, the team has grown, the menu has deepened, and the fireplace is still on. We're open seven days a week so the busiest schedules still fit.

We give back to Metro Detroit
As a Michigan-native business, we owe everything we have to Grosse Pointe Woods and the surrounding Metro-Detroit area. We donate over $80,000 every year to local auctions, sports clubs, medical facilities and schools — including University Liggett Knight, Kids On The Go, 4 Paws 1 Heart and the Henry Ford Clambake for the Cottage, among many others.
